Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

the marina is rather small and not an interesting place to explore. Porto Cervo is not a good destination for tourists either. Porto Cervo village was built in the 1960s on the initiative of Agahan, a billionaire as a destination for a super rich. There is really nothing interesting for tourists there. You can find there the center of the village, buildings craying for renovation, a place with ugly architecture. There you will find Liu Vitton, Rolex any other luxury brands boutiques and it is definitely not worth wasting your time and going to Porto Cervo.

Indefinable plastic place. Unvisitable in the evenings of August. Cars parked everywhere, in complete illegality. Fluorescent cars, tacky anthracite black yachts, immeasurable prices. The capital of the Emerald nightlife, made of balls to show but without culture, without sense. All I've seen is bad taste and guys pissed in their designer clothes. End

I visited the Marina of Porto Cervo at different times of the year both for work and on vacation.
It is an enchanting place that always gives great emotions. During spring and autumn the water of the port is so clean that it has nothing to envy to the best beaches of the Costa Smeralda. I believe that for this reason it is one of the ports with the most beautiful and clean water in the world. During the summer the port is set up to offer services to the boats that are moored. Nothing fake, on the contrary a beautiful enhancement of a place among the most beautiful and appreciated by all travelers both by sea and by land. Despite the maritime traffic in the summer, the beaches of the bay of Porto Cervo are bathing and the water remains transparent thanks to the continuous cleaning and care of the waters. Truly a great work of all to maintain and preserve the place. An excellence

Two yachts in the marina....it's all we saw. But we were there at the end of April and I hope in July or August it is different.

We came at the end of April before the Summer season starts and this marina was empty. Just a few tourists and a few cats. This is where the ultra-rich come and dock their boats in the Summer. During the few weeks around mid July and end of august, this town becomes one of the places where everyone wants to be. And if you come with your big yacht you'll want to dock here.

If you like yachts and being in a rich environment then this is a fab place for you. I saw some of the best yachts I've ever seen in my life but this place is absolutely dead. It is a ghost town.

Spent 8 days here and each day there was nothing to do (Porto Cervo Promenade has got shops and galleries but they are only open at night) the marina is empty. When I say there is no vibe here I mean the silence is deafening. If you have had enough of people and want to get away it could be for you but it is not a real Italian experience at all. There are NO shops!!

Be ready to bring your camera. You will see mega yachts that will memorize you. They have plenty of parking and restaurants all along the marina. It's a good stop for lunch.

Overpriced food and drinks that are catered to wealthy tourists. The marina itself is great to admire some of the boats that are in, but it's fake. It reminds me of a bad Disneyland, it's overly polished and has no authenticity about it.
