We've been to this shop 3 times and will go back whenever we're in Montepulciano. Cesare Massetti is a sweet man who is a master at his work. His wife runs his shop and is such a lovely woman. I've bought copper from them every time I go and also online. I will continue to purchase from them. I've bought... More

Both the cookware and wine cooler are beautifully crafted and highly effective. They were shipped carefully and timely.

The Vino Noble of Montepulciano is Cesare Massetti. While on our honeymoon three years ago, my husband and I visited the Bottega Del Rame and met Cesare. Not only were we charmed by his vivacious personality, but we also witnessed his skilled craftsmanship. We had a spirited conversation (my husband was amazed to learn I spoke enough Italian to understand... More

I have visited the Bottega del Rame more than once, and have purchased wine chillers and other household items at the shop on Via Dell'Opio Nel Corso. However, you should go to the Rameria if you can, meet Cesare and watch him at work. He is a third-gen traditional coppersmith who began apprenticing to his father at the age of... More

We love our ice bucket! The craftsmanship is truly beautiful! We were there in October and fell in love with all the copper items on display. We hope to order more in the future. We look forward to showing off our beautiful ice bucket. Damiana and George Z.

Visited shop and viewed beautiful copper work. Factory nearby was closed but did get a chance to meet owner and family. A highlight of our Montepulciano visit and a chance to purchase a really good pot!

In October we visited Bottega del Rame for the 3rd time. The store is breathtaking. If the beauty alone doesn't open your wallet, spend a little time imagining all the wonderful things you can prepare in this gorgeous cookware. Cesare has a wonderful story to tell and his mastery is truly something to behold. We now own several pieces from... More

What an experience! Cesare shared the story of his life; how he was the 3d generation to learn and perfect the skills of creating copper utensils, cooking containers and many other amazing pieces. Hand made tools and equipment passed down from his father and grandfather add to the charming history he shared with us ... After our 3 hour visit... More

What an amazing experience!!! We had read about Cesare's Bottega del Rame and his Rameria Mazzetti before this trip to Italy and knew that we would visit both the shop where his exquisite copperware is sold and his rameria (copper workshop). Both were far beyond our expectations. We met Cesare's delightful wife in the shop. We learned how to clean... More

We purchased a wine/champagne chiller, the most beautiful piece I've ever seem!! It was such a pleasure to meet Cesare and his wife. They are so funny and so very proud of their culture and history of Cesare's craft as a truly talented coppersmith! If you are in Montepulciano you cannot miss this beautiful shop!! I could have been lost... More
