- ArtisticIdea63 contributionsBest part of the Amalfi coastThis is the actual highlight of Amalfi coast! Amalfi and Positano are so touristy, it's unsettling. Stay in Maiori and enjoy your time. Don't miss this hike. It's about 400 steps up, but they are relatively easy because they are not all at once and there are benches to rest along the way with beautiful views. Skip the fresh lemonade and "lemon granita" at one of the shops at the top. It was a tiny cup of each and was 4 euros each. The Granita was just chunky ice with a few drops of lemon sugar in the middle, pretty insulting. Wanted to help support, but this is a really poor value. Definitely ask the price because they do not post them.Visited October 2023Travelled with familyWritten 21 October 2023
- Megan F6 contributionsBeautiful walk - must do!We hiked along the Path of Lemons from Minori to Māori and back again. What a lovely way to spend a day! There are about 400 steps up but it is all paved stone, steep in parts and then more gradual, very doable - I’d suggest going when it’s cooler, in the morning, and you can pause as needed. In Minori, walk straight back from the port, and you will find markers for where the path begins, and along the way. Along the route there are two places at least where you can stop for a glass of lemonade, granita or limoncello. Delicious to try the local varieties! Took us maybe 45-60 minutes. Must do if you are in the area, and the views are stunning!Visited May 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 8 May 2024
- Jon EMelbourne, Australia297 contributionsJust do it!Awesome experience, glad we made the effort. We walked along the path of the gods/lemons from Maiori to Minori. Amazing views and mind blowing how these people make the most of the space they have, even if it is vertical! Met some beautiful locals along the way and stopped off at a local lemon farm shop called Agricola Ruocco’s, a fifth generation lemon farming family. Amazing lemonade and lemon granita to die for, especially after climbing all those steps. This walk is doable even for the not so fit, just take your time and rest along the way. We even got to experience the local transport, a team of mules carrying the offerings off the hill and bringing back the supplies. Well worth the effort, amazing lifetime memories made today.Visited July 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 4 July 2024
- Gavin F13 contributionsThe Lemon walk from Maiori to MinoriIn comparison to the minori to Ravello walk this is an absolute breeze! We walked from Maiori to Minori on a Sunny day around 25 degrees Celsius. Yes you will sweat and melt but in terms of incline and and number of steps this is a very do-able walk coming from Maiori just before you descend into minori town there is a small family run bar with the best limoncello spritz you will ever taste! Plenty of cats and geckos along the way and the views are stunning! Would recommend but would advise to wear a runner/trainer and prepare to sweat 😅Visited September 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 17 September 2024

Very difficult to find the beginnning of this trail, from Minori, as there are no indications. We had to ask 3 times to find the right stairs, when arriving down from Ravello (walking down hundreds of stairs). The trail itself is paved and very easy, with nice views but not crossing any lemon trees/groves at all. It was not the immersive experience we were expecting: no scent of lemons in the air at all (even if the trees were full) . The only nice experience was tasting the lemonnade, jam, and limoncello at Ruocco (halfway through). Hope in the future a consorcio of growers and tourism association takes care of this trail and takes inspiration from CAI or Swiss indication system for trekkers! Not expensive and could be done also in local ceramic art!

very pleasant walk, unfortunately the lemon trees were not yet discovered but the landscape is really beautiful. There are many steps both up and down, as well as a small flat central part. In general, however, it is a quick walk, about 40 minutes in total, which ends with a final gift at the Sal deriso pastry shop with a divine lemon delight.

Rather than using the state road I think it is the best way to go from Maiori to Minori or vice versa. We parked in Maiori in the blue lines and following the entire path we arrived in Minori with a stop at Sal de Riso. A few photos, a lemon granita, a pleasant walk among the lemon trees. On the way back we took the site bus (1 stop) to pick up the car, but we could easily return on foot

Voilà un sentier facile, pour tout âge, pas trop long (environ 40 minutes de marche), pour toute la famille et avec de beaux emplacements pour de belles photos.
Attention toutefois car le stationnement n’est pas facile, il y a peu de places.
Here is an easy trail, for all ages, not too long (about 40 minutes of walking), for the whole family and with beautiful view sites for beautiful pictures. Be careful however, because parking is not easy, there are few spaces.

We took an organized tour on Get your guide at 75$ can. and we left Maiori to Minori more than 500 steps to climb, we saw no lemon 🍋 no lemonade to quench your thirst en route 🥵 a small place welcomes you with a lemonade tasting and a small spread of lemon jam 🍋 and finally to SEE LEMONS we charge you
15 euros extra per person for entering the lemon garden and taking pictures!
CATCH TOURISM 200% and we were completely tired! we are in the 60 years old quite fit!

As the other reviews mention, yes there are a lot of stairs but it is so worth the climb for the spectacular views.
This is not a long walk by any means. We walked from Minori - Maiori in about 40 minutes and that was with us stopping to take pictures. We are late 20s/early 30s and are reasonably physically fit, if that is helpful for reference.
The views are wonderful and it is a lovely walk along a safe path. We did at one point need to step into the side to let some lemon carrying donkeys go by!

we started in Minori: you have to climb about 200 stairs (very steep, so take your time) starting near the school in Minori center, or you can follow the road, both up to "Torre". Sentiero dei Limoni is indicated at the start of the trail. Once you got up at the Torre in Minori the path is less steep and quite easy and you will be rewarded with amazing views over Minori and Maiori and their bay. You'll pass through the lemon plantations everywhere and at the end start the steep descent to Maiori. Depending where you stay, you can start in Minori or Maiori, it doesn't make a difference really.

I don't understand why several reviews downsize this path to an almost ordinary walk... I personally found it suggestive... walking on a stone path, sometimes along the sea, sometimes between lemon groves, passing through small almost forgotten hamlets , experiencing first-hand the imperviousness of the terrain, the impossibility of arriving by car, and having the possibility of eating on farms or purchasing the famous lemons directly from the producer. The path is not exactly a walk given the difference in altitude and the numerous steps but it is certainly worth it

Will stay based in Ercolano. How can we get to Maiori from Ercolano if we want to do the Lemon Path from Maiori to Minori? Thanks

Salve, ci sono limoni in questo periodo?

Salve, tempo di percorrenza a piedi andata e ritorno?
Written 8 September 2020

Ogni quanto tempo passano a settembre?
Written 11 September 2019

Buona passeggiata
Written 3 August 2019
Do you only arrange private tours? We are only two people, and think it will be a bit expencive. We would not mind to walk with other people.
Written 4 July 2019
È possibile percorrere il sentiero anche la sera dopo il tramonto? È illuminato?
Written 29 June 2019
Non é illuminato. Necessita una buona torcia. Attraversando di notte in maggio si incontrano le lucciola.

I broke my ankle and leg and have plates and screws implanted. I am 60. I am still recovering from the surgery. Is this something walk easy?
Written 28 January 2019
No there’s nothing easy about the walk. Worth the effort but You can walk along the front from Miouri to Minori with lovely views of the sea and the lemon walk from below. 🍋 hope that helps.
