An interesting town with many charces of 16-18 c. and Roman ruins od Theatro and Amphiteatro. Infortunately the charch St. Giovanni Battista is closed and St. Cuore half-closed on restavration.

We went to the square! Meh!! We went to another square!! Went in to a couple of churches with extremely well cut stone/marble #amazing. Parking was easy. Food is hard because they close. . Wouldn't go again . I'm sorry people of Leece

Lecce is such a joy of a city to casually stroll through and admire its beauty. There are also great restaurants and hotels here. The perfect base to explore other parts of Puglia.

Begin with a Roman amphitheater, a Tourist Information center in a medieval tower, and continue to coffee shops, restaurants, ice cream and gelato havens, all within a 1 minute walk.

Outside the old city walls there is parking space. Some of it is free. But beware. It can be very busy
