A very interesting place to learn all about the history of olive oil production through the ages. There is also a very good shop on site with all manner of olive oil products to sample and buy.

This museum is well laid-out, with interesting displays, most with English description panels. They also have a little restaurant just across the street that serves light meals using (naturally) the olive oil of the house.

The 18 rooms tell a story of the origon of olive growing and olive oil producing. The factory started in 1911 and has since then collected a lot of original pieces for the museum. The signs are in Italian so for non italian speaking people...More

Very interesting history of olive oil. Lots to see in museum. Our guide was very knowledgeable. Gift shop with lots of options and stuff to buy. Highly recommend this especially if you have time to kill in Imperia or surrounding areas.
