Small museo, 3 rooms one of amphoras and the other 2 of a few statues in various states of decay. Not one was a 100% complete and the information notices were in Italian only. Formia could and should do much better

Kid-friendly museum of Roman antiquities from the Formia area. Contains mostly Roman statues. No English explanatory notes.

Extraordinary Roman portrait statues- togati, male figures in heroic nudity, and portrait heads- as well as ideal and decorative sculptures can be seen on this rather under-publicized and uneelcoming, though not badly displayed, museum.
