We reached this destination by car and in summer you are able to take the cable car to reach to the Rifugio Lagazuoi where you will experience breath taking views of the dolomites. This is a must destination if you are in the area.

This place looks like perfect especially in the context of surrounded mountains. It is easily accessible by public transport or car. It is ideal place for alpinism because has a lot of a good equipped thread routes with the excellent view.

Sorry for delay. I don't know if it is officially closed but it could well be closed by snow/ TA won't allow links but if you look up the Cortina tourist office they should know.

Sorry for delay: Tripadvisor won't allow links to the websites but it appears to finish about the 22nd October. There is a tourist info place in Cortina that will have all the details,
