Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The 5 torri area is simply amazing, and giulia knows the best panoramic spots for sure! She is really friendly and helpful, her tips to improve our technique were really useful. The lunch on the sunny terrace was great. From there you can see cortina and also the other part of the valley, which is Passo Giau.
Thank you giulia!
Will do it again next time for sure!

The Sellaronda ski tour connects the four Ladin valleys of the Dolomites that surround the Sella Massif. As you ski around the Sella mountain you never do the same slope twice, which is a great bonus. If you go quickly you can ski the Sellaronda in less than half a day. But you can also take is leisurely and have some stops on the way to enjoy the scenery while you enjoy coffee or lunch. Or you repeat your favorite slopes a few times.

We were there in the first week of February which is not an italian holiday and therefore supposed to be quieter. The ski tour is advertised as the main ski route for the various resorts. Unfortunately the infrastructure is totally inadequate resulting in long queues at every lift; they need fast 6 or 8 man chair lifts at every lift. The high numbers of people mean that every run was being chewed up and were very busy.
There is excellent skiing in each resort but I suggest you ski on runs that are away from the Sellaronda. Val Gardena was my favourite.
From Val e Fassa, avoid the lift at Campitello which is extremely busy with long queues. Use Camazei, Alba or Pozza to start your skiing.

Hi Giulia, we are a family of 5, interested in ski lessons/tour in December? How do I get in touch with you?

Hi Giulia!
My husband and I will be coming to Cortina for a vacation from 12/30-1/4 and are hoping to book a private ski guide for the mountain for the first two days of our trip.
We are intermediate/advanced skiers that enjoy flying down groomed runs and open bowls with powder.
We are trying to better understand how the mountain is laid out and how easy or difficult it is to get from one area of the mountain to another. Are there enough runs in each area to stay there all day or will we need to take buses between areas? We would prefer not to have to come off the mountain to take advantage of the different terrain.
Do you have an email I can use to chat further?

Ciao Giulia, I'm going to be in Cortina in December with my two daughters. I'm interested in lessons/guide activities. How do we get in touch?

Giulia,
We are a family of three Glenn (M, 52) Alina (F, 47) and Alexei (M,15) that will be visitng Cortina d'Ampezzo 15 Feb - 20 Feb and is looking for a guide to ski with us and take us around Cortina d'Ampezzo. Glenn grew up ski racing and backcountry skiing, Alina is a solid intermediate skier, skis exert runs as well but does not like off piste skiing. Alexei skis with Glenn and can ski anything as well. We are looking to ski as a group, there might be a day or two or some 1/2 days where Glenn and Alexei ski alone with the instructor/guide. We were in Zermatt last year (with our other 3 children as well) and hired a great guide that showed us the mountains, food and amazing ski runs.
Can you be available to ski with us? And if not, can you recommend a fun, experienced instructor/guide that can ski with us?
Thank you!!
Glenn, Alina and Alexei
