Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Visconti lived here and the villa is absolutely breathtakening. A visit is a must, ask the hotel to manage it, since it is not open to the public. The view on the lake from the master's bedroom is a dream sight

A beautiful villa in a superb location. The only downside was the lack of air conditioning because of its historic status. The gardens are large and need some care and attention. However the views from the villa and the villa itself get 5 stars. Catering was excellent.

We visited Villa Erba for wedding events in June 2019, and it was the most amazing venue I've ever been to. The indoor and outdoor spaces were sprawling, and the views of the lake and town of Como were incredible. For anyone looking for a location for a special event - you will NOT be disappointed!

Beautful park! But itis only open to those participating in expositions. It is apparently closed to everyone else. I don't know how the people in the expositions get customers in to see what they're showing because we were told that the only people who could enter where the sellers. Big disappointment. We found the same thing to be true of every Villa and similar area in Cernobbio. Unless you were a guest in one of the five star hotels, you are very politely turned away.

We made the trip all the way from Bellagio to Cernobbio to visit this villa. It was a waste of our day. The place is closed to the public (not just that day, all the time)! We could not understand why it is listed as one of the place to visit in Lake Como when in the end all you can see is the gate. Do not make the mistake we made and waste your time with this or Cernobbio in general, which is not worth the visit.

This wonderful garden should not be for some pretentious rich people only. Time to overthrow the power structurs that deprive us from this wonder of nature!

We were disappointed that no where on the website does it tell you that Villa Erma is not open to the public. We would have loved to walk in the gardens and were frustrated that the website said it was open daily which it is not.

You’re supposed to be able to look around the gardens but it’s permanently closed and no indication on the website when that happens. Check before you turn up by calling directly.

Very poor communication.

One of the best venue for love birds - I mean for young hearts. A picturesque ground overlooking Lake Como. No wonder George Clooney chose this part of the world.
The Villa - the Palace- is placed in romantic part of Cernnobio Village. We fell in love instantly.

Visited the classic car show which (for the Sunday) relocates from Villa D”Este to Villa D”Erba.

The classic cars on show are absolutely amazing and it’s probably the most prestigious classic car show in the world !

A must for anyone who really loves classic cars.

The cars on show are just incredible and so rarefied.

It’s a truly outstanding day.
