Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

An unfamiliar and hidden gem that is really recommended to visit! There are round-trip shuttles from the palace that cost 2.5 euros for a ticket that is really worth taking there. Because the walk there is very long.
This is a very large park where you can walk around and have a picnic as well. There is a nice cafe where the shuttle stops and you can buy sandwiches and drinks there.
In the end we gave up the entrance to the palace and stayed longer in the gardens because we were pleasantly surprised by the place.

There are plenty of reviews about this place so I won't go further. It's mandatory once you come here.

I've visited gardens abroad (like suzhou and Shanghai) but no one is like this garden. It's stunning! And really well cured (and clean); we were speechless, so I'll let my photos speak for me

We took a detour from seeing the fountains to see this garden. The garden is nice, but pales in comparison with the fountains. Also some of the areas were closed off for repair/maintenace and not accessible. In hindsight, we should have walked down from the top of the fountains and see all the fountains instead as this garden is not worth the time and energy.

This English garden was constructed a long-time back, and has developed into a super place for an hour’s stroll.

We visited this morning, after walking all along the water features in the main Reggia garden, gawking and taking photos.

Ms Venus, in her own pond is poised and resplendent. The gardener’s house is in need of repairs, but the gardens themselves are well maintained, including two fellows with whipper-snippers working away at the edges of a couple of ponds. A couple of the Cyprus trees are enormous. There are many variants of plants from around the world - apparently at one time it was used to select and fine-tune garden vegetables for the palace.

A bit hidden away, but well worth seeking out!

One of the most beautiful garden ever visited. I visited it when i was a child and then again few months ago and is still awesome. The Giardino Inglese (English Garden) is vast, with myriad of paths, creeks, little water falls, lakes, statues and ruins from Pompeii. It is a real delight to visit it particularly in spring when flowers are blossoming and you enjoy some respite from the sun in the shades of the trees.
The combined visit to the Palace and the gardens cost 12 euro. It is really worthwhile. The Giardino is located at the end of the long avenue in the back of the Palace, on the right-hand side of the waterfall. The walk from the Palace is 3km and can be very pleasant but you can also take a comfortable bus who gets you there. The bus runs every 15m. Be aware however that the Giardino closes early (15:00) and the visit may well take over an hour. So if you go to the Palace late morning you may wish to visit the Giardino first and the Palace thereafter not to be disappointed.
Outside the Giardino on the left hand side of the waterfall there is a nice cafe with outdoor tables where you can sip a coffee after the visit perhaps while waiting for the return bus. I understand the cafe also serves lunches and pizzas but I have not tried.
Avoid Easter Monday since on Easter Monday the park is closed.

Even if you feel tired from the long gradually ascending road from the palace along the fountains, do not forget to turn to the right side at the end. Don't miss the English garden! Just... DON'T! It is just marvelous! We spent a couple of hours there and I'm sure that we were not able to discover all of the treasures hidden inside. We could have spent the whole day there, but in the winter the gardens close earlier, and we still had the palace to visit. And If you feel hungry from all the wandering, you can always pick an orange or two from the trees ;) And if you want to save some efforts and concentrate mainly on the English garden you may skip some walking by taking the bus that goes through the french garden along the fountains.

I think that that these gardens need to have more shuttles to help people visiting the whole gardens

First of all it's a long walk to get here but you can hire a bike or get one of the little buses that run from the palace. The garden itself is full of magnificent trees, water features, and shady, tranquil spots. However, it is in need of attention in places as if there is not enough money. It doesn't detract too much from the overall impression though.

The area of these garden stretch pretty far. So judge whether you have the time for this walk. Still it can be good place to relax a bit especially in the late afternoon. I would certainly buy tickets on line, otherwise you will be discouraged. Many Italians, literally from all over Italy, come to this attraction.
