Looking at it from the outside, this rather unassuming cathedral in Brixen does not inspire a lot interest. But step inside, one is awed especially by the very fine ceiling in this baroque church that was rebuilt in the mid-1700s but was first built in...More

We visited here on a rainy day. We walked to the Duomo with its brightly coloured exterior and was relieved to tour the interior in the wet weather. As it was raining that day, we were disappointed that we did not get to shop at...More

Beautiful in and outside. Also a nice place in front of it to relax, have some ice cream or enjoy some summer afternoon.

Nice example of South German Rococo; frequent baroque musical events; the kloister has rather interesting freezes and frescoes depicting local life in the XV Century.

Beautiful architecture outside and nice art inside characterize this cathedral. Do not miss the adjoining cloister and chapel. The frescoes are really nice and worth seeing. We spent more time in the cloister than the church itself.
