Quiet climb up to a pretty lake though as it is not really covered by shade can get quite hot - the bar at the top though makes the difference - I think they are now charging cars to enter though the park

Lago Cancano is a beautiful surprise at the top of the “Little Stelvio” being a 9 km climb of about 7-8% grades just outside Bormio. Great scenery and fresh air. An excellent recovery after the big rides in this area

Not an overly taxing ride, however the view looking back down on the switchbacks makes it super impressive. Close to town and an easy cruise back.

This is a great alternative cycle route to the more well known routes around Bormio. It’s very quiet in comparison to other routes which is great. And as expected the views are fantastic.

Lots of more scenic places to visit close by. But the bike ride up 18 switchbacks was cool. The ride down even better!
