Santa Caterina is smaller skiregion then Bormio or Livigno, but in this place you detect no crowd. They have something especially for skiers- Debora ski route- one of the fastest routes in Europe.

My husband came over here one day from Bormio as the ski conditions were highly recommended. Indeed the snow wad very good. The trails here are more challenging than Bormio 2000, better for advanced skiers. The chalet up top is beautiful.

Really enjoyed the SunnyValley Lodge. The terrain is nice, would like to see some of the surface lifts replaced with higher speed quads. Easy shuttle trip from Bormio and less crowded.

Fantastic skiing especially sunny vally and off piste. Not a huge area but plenty to keep most people happy especially as not very far from Bormio. So a few days in both are highley recomended.

Good for langlauf. For downhill it is ideal for a family. Less crowed than Bormio. Only 15 to 20 minute drive from Bormio. Nice for a change

Loved skiing this mountain. The views, small restaurants are wonderful. This mountain does not have extremely difficult terrain but a nice mountain to ski and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
