I became interested in Vasari since I moved to Arezzo and his home is a wonderful example of his art and life. Such beautiful frescoes and art in each room. There is no furniture which is a shame but the house and garden are really...More

Like others, I also visited the Vasari house as part of the combination ticket with San Francesco, and I enjoyed it quite a bit. From the outside, it is very unassuming, but on the inside the collection of paintings, as well as the frescoes and...More

When you visit the Church of San Francesco you have the option of also seeing the Vasari house. Take the option. From the street it is simply a house, but inside the ceilings are amazing. Think Sistine chapel on the ceilings of an "ordinary" house....More

This was a marvelous house museum that my husband selected. The frescoes were fantastic and we enjoyed the stop.

It realy feels like somebody's home. A lot of frescos to be seen from vasari and his contemporaries. It could be a bit more developped, vasari is after all a very important artist in history. Not much is mentioned about his written works.

For me this is a hidden gem of Arezzo. Small museum with some masterpieces, and the house itself is a treasure. The garden seemed lacking in maintenance but for me that made it all the more charming.

This house was an unexpected pleasure The ceiling were all individually designed and painted by Vasari. All of which were spectacular and in great condition. I really appreciated the focus on women. Staff were very kind and helpful.

This house, decorated by Vasari with amazing ceilings in all the rooms, and wonderful art from the time period hanging on the walls, is well worth seeing. The raised garden is lovely, but strangely has been let go and doesn't seem to be being taken...More
