Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This temple reproduced in the photo did not exist in reality in this form in Akragas. The temple of the Dioscuri was in Akragas this is a stylization of the 30s of the XIX century. The Italians have assembled this pseudo-temple made of columns and capitals from the different buildings. Since they found a little, it turned out not a temple, but rather a portico.

Coming from the southern entrance, this is in if the first temples that pops in your way. It left 4 columns standing, very nice place to take pictures as there are lots of space. A good walk

This was the corner of the very impressive Temple of Castor and Pollux from the 5th century. However, now only four Doric columns which were restored in the 19th century remain.

The Temple of Dioscuri is one of the seven temples in the valley of the temples at Agrigento. The only standing part is a modern reconstruction, and it's not of much interest.

The Temples at Agrigento are exquisite. Be prepared to have your mind blown. Take a camera, a hat, sunglasses and time. Look around. Sit and think about the years and people who have been at that site.

We hope the government of the Sicily starts to tke care more of this important historical patrimony. Its a pity realizing that those columns are there because its own will. There is no guards, no surveillance at the archeological sites

I found the temple to all be amazing. It’s really a great place. But this one is a reconstruction using extra parts from various temples in the area. So while it looks cool it didn’t feel authentic.

This was the first temple we saw during our visit to the Valle dei Templi so to me it was the most memorable. While the temples following were more intact and larger, this one was still special in the aspect that you could see some of the remaining marble on the columns. I was impressed

I don't think the site has a whole is particularly well curated in that it's difficult to picture how the individual temples looked. Poor translations of the Italian descriptions don't help.

There wasn't much left but it was still wonderful to see. I didn't spend much time at this temple and could almost see all there was to see just by walking to the next temple. But it sure caught my attention and it wouldn't be ignored!
