Visited on a Monday evening, early, pub was quite with half a dozen locals. There was a pool table up the back being used. Menu looked nice, good atmosphere, friendly bar staff

I always go for the cod, mushrooms onions chips and peas. The cod is superb - milky large white flakes (I leave out the onions) and a good sized portion. The chips here are superb - perfect floury, crisp without greasiness. c £12. My partner had a spicy beef wrap with salad and chips! c £8 Coupled with Sharps Special... More

We waited 10 mins at the bar to be served while the 'barista' made coffees. Eventually another member of staff appeared, very friendly, & took our order. Everything is cooked to order (20mins for us) & tasted like that, very fresh, although the peas were not best quality, a bit 'floury', the fish was very tasty. Although the refurb was done... More

Stumbled across this place on our way to the harbour and decided to have lunch. The menu was great and the food was amazing. 3 of us had a Sunday lunch which came with plenty of sides. The food was delicious and the waitress was lovely and very helpful. It was a sunny day so we sat outside which is... More

Stopped here for lunch , decided to visit and try out their menu after visiting a few weeks back for a drink. Nice varied pub menu , had the scampi which was a generous portion , however no salad and poor presentation but enjoyed it . Would visit again .

Food was good but no wow factor. I have had better fish pies and the curry was somewhat bland. Gets very busy so if there are a group of you it would be better to book before hand.

Ate here while on holiday. Pub atmosphere and you order food at the bar. A bit noisy when we were in, but the food was very good.

Stopped here for a chicken strip pitta bread and salad. Unusual and tasty - at a pretty good price too. Comfy pub with friendly service.

Popped here one evening last week to meet a friend who is in a wheelchair. We managed to sit outside but could not get into the pub as the path outside had tables and chairs blocking access, plus there were steps into the bar. But we were happy to sit outside anyway. I had chips and my friend had the... More

Having wandered round Charlestown assessing where to have our evening meal we opted for the Harbourside Inn and we are really glad we did. The staff were friendly and the food was the best we had eaten in our 5 day stay in Cornwall, excellent quality, quantity and at a very reasonable price. Word of warning the desserts are a... More
