I took my aunt and uncle who were visiting from The Netherlands to see the variety of birds at this walk-in aviary. They are keen on birds in the wild so I was not sure how much they would enjoy the experience but they both loved the visit. We feed the birds and were able to see them close up.... More

We have been bringing our grandchildren here for the last eight years. The Aviary is a wonderful, unpretentious, small privately owned little piece of paradise. When paying your reasonable entry fee, each person is given a small plate of sliced apple and a small pot of meal worms (both for the birds of course). The wide variety of birds will come... More

This is great way to getup and close with birds and great for young children. It would be good if more seating was available for those that wish to sit and watch the bird life. Staff were friendly and helpful

Well worth 30-45 minutes out of your day. Lots of beautiful, friendly parrots and other birds. You get given feed for the birds and they are quite happy to gently feed from you. Super friendly owners/staff.

An hour or two is a perfect time frame to take in your holiday or a day out with the family! You are given fruit and millworms to feed to the birds, and all you need to bring is a willingness to get up close and personal with the birds! Great for young kids as it lets them go at... More

We visited the walk in aviary on a Saturday and were quite delighted. Firstly, in terms of space, it a is not a very large place, but a decently sized area covered with large nets - while most of the birds could fly around, there were quite a few birds locked in big cages (sadly). The aviary has a wonderful... More

This is a no frills open air attraction where a large variety of birds fly around in a very large netted enclosure. You are given sliced apple plus a cup of mealworms which the birds will take from you whilst sitting on your arm. Enjoyable for small children and probably up to early teens too. We found half an hour... More

I read about the aviary on the official website before we actually visited and to be frank, i expected to see a lot more variety of birds esp since Australia is known as the country of parrots. I expected to see at least the cockatoo, the gala etc which are common exotic birds out here but instead we got to... More
