This is a really pleasant walk to and from the Akavas gorge. There are nice sea cliffs, conglomerate rocks, interesting water-eroded stone, butterflies and moths. And you can get refreshments at the cafe at Lara Beach. The only thing that sopolt it was the off-road...More

We went on a boat trip - so sad to see a beautiful beach with so much rubbish on it, especially as it is a tourist attraction. In sea sea not much by way of fish but again sadly lots of plastic rubbish.

This beach is really off the beaten track! Road is very bumpy, full of holes and one need to drive slowly! It is a beautiful quiet beach. Interesting way people are stacikg rocks on the beach. Very nice!

You will need a car,but well worth a visit.Take water with you as can be a bit rural in places. If you find the Taverna coffee is bliss, but out of season may not do food,The view is mind blowing .

Spent a lovely day relaxing on Lara beach we were one of only 6 people there. Far end of the beach appears to be sandier than the pebble section closer to the restaurant.
