A place that is definitely worth a visit. You'll learn a lot about the Omani culture. The displays are very nice and the information that is provided is very useful. I particularly enjoyed the clothing, daggers, house ustensils, and musical instruments sections.

Lovely small museum, very well organised, with gift shop and cafe. Well worth a visit. Exhibits mainly Omani national dress and household items, jewellery, arms, plus stamps and coinage upstairs. Well worth a visit, and won’t take all day to see.

Wonderful new museum. It tells the story of Omani history, as well as a section of stamps and a section of coins since the Islamic era

The Zubair houses have been donated for these museums. They are a perfect setting for the interesting and informative exhibitions.

We enjoyed this little gem and found it very informative about Omani culture, history and living. The kids particularly liked the traditional Omani house, swords and clothing sections. Definitely worth a visit.

Use GPS to get there. Billy easy to find. Should be allowed to stay in the US you should have no problem finding a place to park. There is a small entrance fee. Enjoy

There is a gift shop in Bait al Zubair. They have nice souvenirs which are nicely packed. They have variety and small items are reasonably priced.
