Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque is the largest mosque that Qaboos bin Said Sultan of Oman ordered to build. The mosque is located in the governorate of Muscat. It was ordered to be built in 1992. It was designed by the architect Mohammed Saleh Makiya, jointly with Quad Design,Its construction lasted 6 years until it was completed.
