Definitely a must see in Muscat. Go early in the morning to beat the tour groups and the heat. A very beautiful building and very peaceful atmosphere. I spent over an hour at the mosque.

Went early in the morning. Can't really describe the scale of it as the mens prayer room can hold 10,000 people. Well worth a visit.

I have just seen this question. There is adequate cover provided on loan but covered legs and arms will be good.
