Small but well kept museum. it’s only 1 or, to get in. they have some nice out door spaces and it’s a great way to learn about the animals and history of this vast country.

This is one of Oman's oldest museums, well thought out presentations but as it's now so old is in dire need of a refurbishment. I hope it gets it as it was a great place to visit

Good little museum, some exhibits are a little old, but still good. Great place for children. Friendly staff. I think it cost only 1 Riyal to get in.

A wonderful museum and silent. Perfect time for kids with other kids. To learn about past. Nice to watch and spend time on weekends.

Really enjoyed my visit although the sullen staff on the payment desk were not the greatest advert for Omani customer services, as they initially refused to accept cash payment then grudgingly changed their mind with no explanation

We were interested to know all about Oman and its natural history. We spent a really informative hour looking around and were amazed at the diversity of animal and insect that could be found in the country.

Small museum but not expensive either. Some interesting exhibits, plenty of written commentary explaining Omani natural history. No more than an hour required.

Must visit if interested in history, culture or civilization. It hosts a variety of artefacts depicting early cultural & traditional history of Oman along with influences from Turkey, Iran, India, etc.

There are many local animals and rock formations on display. The whale room next door is quite nice and there is an original frankincense tree in front of the building.

Yes. It's actually a bit hard to find/get into the compound it is in, but there is plenty of parking. I recommend using google maps to help you get there.
