beautiful place. Rent a car before you go there - amazing colors for the water. Don't go during Eid season since it was very crowded, we couldn't swim in the water.
make sure to go early morning, we went around noon, and it was very hot.
Ladies should wear conservative clothes (not above the knee, and no spaghetti straps)

make sure to make a stop later to "Fins" beach, it's very close to the sinkhole.

Only one word can describe it, beautiful. And spectacular, and stunning, yes the list goes on.

It’s so unexpected as you walk through the park and see a wall. One peep over and your eyes are in for a treat. It’s beautiful. Steps lead you down to a beach area where you can go swimming. Toilets near by can be used for changing facilities. It’s definitely worth the journey.

Located about an hour and a half from Muscat, easily reachable by car. It’s close to sea and the road to reach it offer spectacular views. It’s a closed off, but free, park, very well maintained. The sink hole is amazing, the water is transparent and blue, with the dramatic change of color of the sand colored walls it makes it a wow experience. A steep set of steps take you down and up, so try not to go in the hot hours. You can have a refreshing bath, but when you come back up the sun is very strong. Beautiful experience not to be missed

On way back from Wadi Shab We visited it. Although whether was very warm but this sink hole is must see - different experience. You can climb down & also do swimming in it.

Underwhelming. If you have not yet seen Wadis then you might find it nice but it is a crater with water full of tourists who went down some ugly stairs. That is a rough and perhaps harsh summary but we spent around 15min in the park which was built around it.
It is free to enter but the flowers around are nice than the hole itself.
Skip it and take your time with Wadi D'hab 25 min driving away.

combine with Wadi Shab, a geological wonder!

Actually nice to see the whole 100 mio years of geology in the lines when you enter the sinkhole, volcanic and other layers...

The Bimmah Sinkhole is quite impressive. Walk around the perimeter and then descend the many steps for a closer look.

While this place is stunning, visiting it right after returning from Wadi Shab was a bad idea! Imagine hiking for 4 hours there and swimming in the pools and the hidden cave then coming here to see a sinkhole! Still, we spent some time there enjoying the view.

Despite some medical issues, I had to get to the water and managed to get down and up the many steps. Swimming in the water was very healing for me.
