It is conveniently located and near several hotels and guesthouses (including Sugarapple Inn, where I stayed). However, I think there are a bit too many seaweeds in the water here.

Friendship bay is on the atlantic side of the island and throughout our stay the sea was very rough, it was also very, very windy. It is not a pretty bay and the beach is poor compared to others I have visited in the Caribbean.

I would very much recommend Lower Bay. A beautiful beach and a few "local" but good restaurants. St Margarets beach is also very good as is Jacks bar! Fernandos was recommended and visited but we all felt the food was rather average.

Stunning beach. This side of the island is quiet. No facilities here but the times we have been to this beach we had it pretty much to ourselves!!

Have anchored here several times - a little bit of a roll but nice daytime anchorage. Bay is surrounded by a recent shaped beach - great for swimming and fun with some nice small waves.

Had a great time here...the Atlantic side of the island has a constant breeze which is nice, less mozzies but might be too much for kids.

Not much else here but the Bequia Beach Resort. There is public access to this beach also but no amenities. The resort is quite nice and the restaurants and bars( all within the resort area} are nothing to complain about. Nice way to spend a...More

Beautiful beach with lovely views - very sheltered. We loved looking over to Mustique and had fun doing waterspouts in the bay. Really good snorkelling on the reef.

Generally has waves breaking close to beach on south end of bay, north end has fewer waves. once past the waves its calm. sugarapple beachfront cottage is good location on calmer end.
