This beach is lovely and not too affected by the cruise ship hoards - you get the odd one who take a taxi over but not many. It is quite rough with a bit off undertow but not bad. There is Bequia Beach Hotel and...More

Lovely swimming conditions when it's not terribly windy. Go to Bagatelle for lunch, stay the day. Great for beach walks. Lovely sunrise....

Not much seems to happen at the beach. Clean and peaceful. Lots of waves. Ok for dip if visiting. Nearby hotels if looking for a breakfast visit.

This was our favorite beach of our stay. It was high season but it felt like we had the beach to ourselves, very quite and pristine

A short stay here to compare it with others on the island. Surf can be rough so not as good for calm swimming. Also dominated by the Beach Hotel which does welcome casual visitors but only at a price.

Lovely long sandy beach most of it used by Bequia Beach Hotel. Very sheltered for the Atlantic cost with views of Whale Island and edged by reefs. Good place for swimming, kayaking, sailing and snorkelling (over on whale Island side of beach)

Bequia is an amazing and mostly undiscovered Southern Caribbean island. Starting this winter, American Airlines will have nonstop flights to St Vincent and there is a ferry from St Vincent to Bequia.

Superb unspoiled beach ( long may it stay this way) , on the Atlantic side of Bequia. It is protected by being in a large bay. We were staying at the Bequia Beach Hotel and the staff assiduously raked up the sea grass that washed...More

Generally has waves breaking close to beach on south end of bay, north end has fewer waves. once past the waves its calm. sugarapple beachfront cottage is good location on calmer end.
