Been coming for a number of years and find excellent value in season passes as a Geelong local. Season pass allows parents to have shorter visits without having to strategically plan a full day. I tend to plan stays 2-5 pm or come on colder days (below 25c). This avoids crowds, shortens lines and allows access to a shaded lounge.
Terrific variety of entertainment. Boys (tweens) now favour the large new waterslides (tornado & tsunami), aqua racer and chilling out on lazy river. Mini golf still a hit too.
If coming from distance for a full day, I’d bring an esky, bbq food, salad, rolls etc and use the free bbq facilities. There’s plenty of rides to try over the day from young to old (ok, I ride too). Bravo to the owners/managers. Who needs Gold Coast?

As a solo traveller, I was not advised when I paid my admission fee that you must have another passenger to use the tube rides.
The staff members teamed me up with other guests and I had three very awkward rides tagging along with strangers before I decided it wasn’t enjoyable.
After running 4 different showers for over 5 minutes each I though there may be an issue with the hot water. I asked a staff member and was told the hot water has never been connected (there are both hot and cold taps), and they are all cold water only.
Due to all the pools not being heated I was too freezing cold to attempt a cold shower afterwards. I arrived back in Melbourne with an itchy rash and hives over my body - which I assume is an allergic reaction from the pool chemicals.
On a positive note the young man running the Ferris wheel was very positive, professional and had a great attitude.

Hi and thanks for your feedback.
Yes two of our rides the Tornado and Tsunami require 2-4 riders per tube to balance out the weight of the tube.
All our other rides allow for single riding.
Apologies for the cold shower water, we only offer rinse facilities at this time.

The worst arranged event I have ever been too.
We got there just after 6.00pm and the line to get in was so over crowded with no care given to COVID or social distance what so ever.
Once inside the crowds were worse, how can you cram that many people into an event in the middle of a health pandemic?!
As we had 2 hours till it went dark to appreciate the lights and wanted to go on some rides but couldn’t get on any rides as the lines were way too long (we saw not a single ride being cleaned in between use which made them less appealing) then we decided to grab something to eat as we had 3 small children only to be disappointed again, nothing for allergies. So decided to see if we could leave the park (helping with the crowds) get the kids fed then come back after dark.... well that didn’t happen as there were no pass outs, not even to get jackets from the car.
I would have thought that during COVID reducing the crowds would have been a good thing, apparently not. And how in this day and age you can’t cater for gluten free people is beyond believe.
Save the money and walk around your local area for Christmas lights

Hi and thanks for visiting.
We have a comprehensive and Worksafe DHHS approved covid safe plan that describes the measures we're taking in the park.
Our rides are cleaned every 15 minutes and this has meant queues for rides have been longer than usual this year.
Our capacity is at a reduced limit and at the time of your visit the government guidelines do not require Victorians to wear masks outdoors but we highly recommend it.
We encourage you to check out our covid safe plan here: www.adventurepark.com.au/park-info/covid-safe-park/
We absolutely offer gluten free options for those with dietary intolerances, next time simply ask our friendly staff for the options.

So disappointing. Fourth birthday in a row. One of our guests was a member and we accidentally paid for her at gate. They acknowledged she was a season pass holder then said too bad no refunds. I explained I was a local, regular, and was planning to upgrade lots of the guests to season passes and just wanted a $48 credit towards, Spent over $800 on the day. Terrible customer service. Your “Policy” sucks.

Great day out
Simple entry fee, by height. No fast pass or family tickets, so paid $50 pp as we were all over 120cm.
A load of free under cover picnic tables on grass. Or you can bring your own gazebo and chairs.
Or If lucky you could grab 4 side by side deck chairs under shade near most water play areas.
$ could pay for a double sun bed but didn’t see the point with all the free shade areas.
Can hire cabanas for either $100 or $150 for VIP ones with fridge and a tv (don’t want to miss that sporting event lol)
Bbq areas or byo picnic or buy usual hot foods or ice cream.
Two mini golf, mini roller coasters, car track, train, water boats plus all water rides.

A family member purchased 5 tickets for myself and my family on the 19th of January 2020, as a Christmas present.
We were planning on going within the next month, as covid hit and we figured we’d have 12 months from purchase to use these tickets, like so many other companies run their expiration policies.
Nope! Turns out the tickets only had 3 months left on them!?
I can’t understand why a business would let someone purchase tickets, and only offer them 3 months to utilise them!? They expired end of the 19/20 season, being April last year, so besides the expiration timeframe, we weren’t even able to go with covid.
Just really disappointed, and wanted to give others a heads up for any vouchers you receive or purchase for others that they may not have a decent bit of time on them. Such an unfortunate waste of money.

Hi there
We're very sorry about your disappointment.
Yes, all our tickets are valid until the end of the season that they are purchased for and this is stated on the tickets.
In the 2019-20 season, covid restrictions meant we had to close two weeks early on the 17 March 2020.
Because of this we offered guests with pre-purchased tickets the opportunity to use their tickets in the first few weeks of the 2020-21 season.
We highly recommend anyone thinking of purchasing tickets as a gift consider a gift card instead as these are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase.

We visited as a large group (6 adults and 6 kids aged 2-12). We went in a Friday and we’re there for the full 7 hours.
We didn’t get a chance to do the mini golf or paddle boats.
Lines were quick and waited probably 15 minutes at most for tube water rides.
We had a cabana - would recommend. We took our own drinks to put in the fridge and snacks. It was a great base for the adults and older kids.
We had lunch there, limited options on a Friday but there were burgers, pizza, hotdogs, hot chips and sandwiches.
It was about $18 for a burger combo with hot chips and drinks.
The chicken burgers were nice.
Kids had an ice-cream as well.
We would definitely return.

The dry area of the park is good for kids. The water park is terrible. The layout is so poorly designed, so small and congested. The lines for the watee rides, especially the lazy river (or more appropriately chaos river) spill put onto the water play areas. The water splash zones are small anyway with hardly any space for kids to play or walk around. Long lines for sub standard slides. No pool to swim in. Even the cabanas looked like they were right in the middle of the traffic. Funfields in Whittlesea absolutely kills this park. Strongly advise against this if you want the water park part of the park. Never going here again in my life.

Went for the festival of lights, would not visit again.
We drove 2.5 hours for a disappointing experience.
Our 2 yo’s head touch the 90cm line so we were made to pay for him which is ridiculous. Then the park was so packed it was an hours wait for a ride and when it’s only open for 4 1/2 hours doesn’t give you much to enjoy, was also hard to enjoy the lights as there were so many people packed in and trying to take photos
(as we all want to do) that you couldn’t stop and enjoy them.
We were planning on taking the kids to visit during the day for the water slides but after tonight’s experience we will take them elsewhere.

Visited with my 2 granddaughters who were very disappointed by the whole event. As tickets were pre sold we presumed guest numbers were controlled and social distancing would be organised however the queues for rides and the amount of people allowed into this event was disappointing with people crammed in and not a face mask insight. Why have rides open when you allow so many guests in I will never understand and we saw no COVID cleaning or social distancing anywhere in the park. We stayed a total of 1 hour and travelled from Melbourne and was very disappointed as were my beautiful granddaughters. Don’t waste your time or Risk your health at this badly organised event.

Hello, I was just wondering because my parents thought it was quite boring and not much fun but I really want to go. they said that they will take me there but they probable won't go in... Is it fun and worth the money? Thank you please answer asap
Written 25 January 2016
PS If you're coming from Melbourne I would leave very early and get there well before it opens as the entry que is well over 1 hour on a hot peak day. Buy your tickets online if you can, that que is often shorter and moves faster.

Hi I was wondering if the water on the slides etc is warm? or you wouldn't go on a cold day as the water is cold?
thanks
Written 11 January 2016
Its not warmed, but it also wasn't ice-chill either. Depends on the weather that you're there in. In half decent weather (25+oC) and after the first ride you won't notice it.
