Been for several years, lovely course in an gorgeous setting. Challenging, but not too long. Fantastic hosts, friendly enthusiastic and helpful. Excellent snacks/drinks at very reasonable prices. £9 for 9 holes with hire & trolley. If in the area a must visit, if not in the area get the train to Starcross. Dorothy Martin Bryan...

9 hole flat course very close to the estuary and subject to interesting ,sometimes strong wind! Criss crossed with drainage ditches , the course layout means you must consider your shots very carefully and I would suggest playing it at least twice as 9 holes to work out how to manage the course. Great value and a very friendly welcome.

Not for the serious golfer, but great fun for the family and any one learning the game. Excellent value at £6 for 9 and £10 for 18. Quite demanding with a number of water hazards but the greens are a little rough. No rush and no pressure. Owners are very pleasant and helpful. Definately recommend a cup of tea at... More

Don't expect perfection but for the price they charge you shouldn't. Excellent value for money with a good range of holes from 90 yards to 250 ish. Played in summer and was mega hard, greens where a little complex with lumps and bumps. But overall a very enjoyable round of golf for not serious players!

It's not the biggest course in the world but for a small 9 holer it can be quite challenging. Most of... More

Teaching my wife to play golf on a demanding but fun course, staff very friendly and welcoming. Course was excellent to play and we thoroughly enjoyed our game, we will definitely return. Only downside was a couple of clowns who cut in on the fourth hole and then kept playing different holes out of order, and kept people waiting and... More

As members of cayman golf, we were invited to challenge oak mead members to a friendly competition. A few of us had played before and for many it was a first time experience. We were absolutely blown away by the overwhelming hospitality and welcoming from.proprietors richard and cindi williams and the ladies who were all working that day. All of... More

At only £6.00 for 9 holes this has to be one of the best value courses in the country. The course itself is challenging because there are bunkers, water hazards, ditches all at well placed spots on each fairway. The staff are friendly and helpful and you can rent clubs, trolleys etc. It says they can even arrange coaching. Don't... More
