The museum needs to be relocated where it is more accessible in order to increase visitors. The extra visitors will increase funding in order to preserve it for generations to come.

A good hour or so can be spent here and a lot can be learned if you take the trouble to read it all. However there is nothing exciting and no wow factor. Hope the updating in progress will improve this.

It's so Nice to take the kids to a museum which they can A) Learn in and B) Have fun in. They loved trying on all the old Saxon and Tudor costumes. And it's all free!

It's ok but the most interesting stuff (stone age etc) collected by Lord Avebury many years ago, is in the basement and not on public view unless they've done the right thing and donated it to the British Museum.
