Possibly the only kayaking tour offered in the national park for children under 8. Our guide Jo is so patient and friendly. Her hand made hot chocolate and coffee on the beach definitely amazed everyone in our group! The boat driver is also so nice and talkative. Thank you Kahu Kayak for making our trip to Able Tasman national park... More

What an experience! Perfect for a family with early teenage kids. Our awesome guide Tyler took us on a half day adventure exploring the area. This is the kind of trip that is best done with a guide - you really learn and see more! We took de one-way package, and the water taxi back was a great experience -... More

Had a great 1-day marine reserve tour yesterday with Marc who did a great job and gave a lot of insights of the area. Enjoyed it a lot - highly recommended!

I did the southern blend to sleep in Bark bay hut. The guide was very friendly and helpful and even made us coffee. Highly recommended.

Did the Lock, Stock and Smoking paddle full day tour with Blair and had a blast. He was funny and engaging all day long - even when I was ill and my arms got tired. Thanks for the fab day!

We had a wonderful day. 2.5 hour walk through Able Tasman from Torrent Bay to Bart Bay I was unsure how it would go as I'm not a huge fan of trekking. It was very doable and beautiful, as was the kayaking that followed. I had never tried sea kayaking and found knowledgeable guides gave me excellent instruction and led... More

Our family of 9 (4 children 10-5) had an awesome time. Brydhi was our tour guide and she was very good, fun and engaging. She makes for an awesome trip. When we arrived at Split Apple rock beach-she prepared wonderful warm coffee drinks for everyone -Mobile Starbucks! She was very adventurous and open to any thing. She also did some... More

What a great experience, with a beautiful person/human being as our guide. We really enjoyed our first sea-kayaking. With Lucy the experience was even more joyfull. She prepared our Starbucks-coffee on the beach and was so very sociable. I - as a coach- think you are a special person who guided us with love and compassion!

We hired a kayak from Kahu for two days so that we could kayak out to one of the beaches in Abel Tasman, camp overnight and then return the next day. I hadn't done anything like this before so didn't really know what to expect but found the experience with Kahu to be a really good one! The briefing was... More

We had a great self-led three day trip so our review only focuses on set-up and pick-up. Booking was easy but set up was hectic. There were about 30-40 people at once trying to get set up on various different tours and trips which meant a drawn out 2-hour set up time before getting out on the water. Because there... More
