    Just stunning
The Millaa Millaa Falls offer a beautiful stop when travelling through the area. The short walk from the carpark to the falls is very short and easy. Definitely worth stopping to look at this beauty if you’re nearby.

    Stunning
We hired a car to drive around the Atherton Tablelands during our visit to Cairns. The waterfall circuit is a must visit!! The roads although windy were easy to navigate and there are plenty of signage to point you in the right direction We went on a weekday at the end of August and it was nice and quiet with easy parking and only a short walk to the falls. A beautiful location and stunning waterfall makes for the perfect photo op!!

Waterfalls Day Trip Atherton Tablelands QLD
A long and hot day tripping around the Atherton Tablelands in North Queensland, one of the ‘must do’ tips was to go to Millaa Millaa Falls. No long walk through the jungle, but a mere few metres from the car park! Perfect, pretty, easy access and grassed area for resting or picnicking. Amble to the water, dip your toes or swim and a side shallow creek for little ones to paddle in. Lots of young tourist bus trips a little loud but so excited to be there discovering with new found friends…. Loud but respectful knowing families close. Spectacular falls and beautiful setting. About 1.5 hrs from Cairns….. fabulous drive, breathtaking views don’t hesitate make a day of it. Follow this up with Josephine Falls about 20 mins away and end at Babinda Boulders on the way back to Cairns.

Busy place, falls are stunning but lots of tourists there swimming in the cold water. Good to see but other spots more worth seeing.

Beautiful Falls, there is ample parking close to the waterfall with toilets and a grassy picnic area. The waterfall is beautiful with a waterhole for swimming.

Gorgeous place, easy walk down steps from Carapark, if you have mobility issues you should park down in the bus parking area to avoid the steps.

The falls here are great!!

The falls are not far from the car park, you can actually hear and see the falls from the car park itself.

Once at the bottom o the falls their are free to use toilets available, and information boards about the falls and the wildlife surrounding it.

I would suggest you keep food in your bag pack as some kind of chicken animal will steal them 😂 very friendly but also hungry.
