This lovely family home is indeed a "hidden gem" beautiful garden setting with something for everyone. Children well catered for and the history and interior of this jewel of a castle is delightful.

We were greeted by a nice gentleman and told us no photos to be taken inside. It was such a lovely place exploring all the rooms and its nice to know that the family still lives there. The garden is well manicured and the toilet...More

Super castle to visit. The tour of the house was wonderful with lots of information and some hidden lego figures for children to find too. I loved the Highland staircase. Beautiful gardens. Staff very friendly and helpful.

My husband and I stumbled across this wonderful castle driving through the Whiskey Trail of Sprey and what a find it was. The castle feels like a home, because it is a home. The owners are occupying the castle, which we found interesting and unusual....More

Fantastic day out again! Top tea and scones, fascinating castle and garden for the second time. A real gem for families (avoiding tour-busses) compared to Cawdor, Fyvie Castle or Leeds Hall!!! All thumbs up!!

Whilst it was lovely wandering round the Castle (No tour guide, go at your own pace) the coffee shop is a real asset to this place. The gardens are lovely, but more so when eating a delicious bowl of soup!! Really inexpensive and huge portions!

Visited on rather a dreary summers day but received a warm welcome to this. The guide to the house was charming and obviously enjoys his work. House was sparkling as were the tea rooms; homemade soup and sandwiches in clean surroundings and extremely good value....More
