Beautiful Castle with a family atmosphere and great outside space including a play area and picnic area. The welcome was friendly and we really enjoyed wondering around seeing the beautiful collections. There are hidden treasures including a letter from George Washington and one from Rob...More

This is a worthwhile stop for both the castle and its gardens. it encompasses five hundred years of Highland history, acres of formal gardens and plantings, woodlands and riverside walks. There is a very fun children’s playground with lots of ride-on vehicles for little ones,...More

This is a beautiful way to spend a day. The castle and surrounding gardens are just beautiful. There are information cards in each room explaining the details of the furnishings. More enjoyable as the family still resides here and rooms are actually used. Great tea...More

Thank you for telling us about your visit; we're very pleased that you enjoyed it. We agree entirely about the cakes in our tearoom - especially the Hummingbird cake, which is a bit addictive!

We were blessed to visit the Ballindalloch Castle on a rare sunny Scottish afternoon. What a surprise. It is nice to be able to walk through a castle and see so many of the private rooms. The interior has a more "modern" feel since this...More
