For 2.50 Euros you can spend as long as you want in this tranquil and picturesque place. Something beautiful is around every corner, be it vistas, plants or buildings. A wonderful contrast to busy cities and beaches! As this is a living monastery, it is...More

We loved this monastery. We also loved the olive oil. The lady in the gift shop was very informative and friendly. The church and museum were fascinating. A very nice afternoon.

Beautiful and interesting old monastery. Best to get there early in the morning before the coaches arrive if possible. Excellent museum with some extraordinary old icons.
