Spent just over 3 hours cruising the picturesque Tweed and Rous rivers on a perfect Autumn day.
The crew were marvellous and very informative about the history and wildlife of the region.
Great scenery ..... Wollumbin or Mt Warning is a volcanic plug which overlooks the caldera now known as the Tweed Valley.
Complimentary bubbly or still wine, soft drinks or water. For those that opted for the seafood lunch weren’t disappointed, sampling some of the regions best prawns, crab, oysters, etc.
Would definitely recommend both locals and visitors alike to indulge in this relaxing and informative cruise.

We hired a Pontoon for the afternoon and it was great. Plenty of room for our party of 7 and easy to steer the boat. Toilet and Esky on board as well as the BBQ.
Michael & his staff were very friendly, helpful and flexible as we wanted to start later and bring the boat back later than the advertised time which was no problem for them.
If you want to swim I would advise bringing the boat close to the shore as the current is very fast and my husband was nearly swept away! Entirely his fault for not listening to the instructions properly.
I highly recommend this as a great way to spend an afternoon with a group of friends or family. It was lovely having a few drinks and snacks moored in a quiet spot looking onto Mount Warning as the sun was getting lower in the sky.

Spent the best Sunday on the Dream Catcher for a awesome experience of Coodjingburra Bundjalung Cultural cruise and then to the Minjungbal Cultural Museum to share some great storytelling and had a great lunch and menu of our Native Foods prepared by local Indigenous Chefs.
A great shout out to the Minjungbal Cultural Museum and the Tweed Aboriginal Cooporative Board.
Make sure you get on the next Cultural Cruise

We recently had our work Christmas function on the the Spirit of Wollumbin skipperd by Michael and his crew.
The three hour sunset cruise along the Tweed River was absolutely fabulous, such an enjoyable way to celebrate the festivities with a beautiful vista.
Michael and his crew were so friendly, the boat and amenities were pristine and there was plenty of room to have a dance and put our feet up to relax.
I would highly recommend Tweed Escapes.

Fiona from Tweed Escapes organised a brewery tour for four of us which was a great half day of tasting the local beers of the area. Our guide Celeste was fun and Winnie our DJ was pumping out some good tunes to get us in the mood. Would highly recommend Tweed Escapes to anyone looking for a fun day out.

My husband and I did the Anzac Day Sunset Tweed & Rous River Cruise. It was absolutely beautiful. At the start of the cruise we had a very informative talk re the local land history then some info on the indigenous people of the area. We then were left to ourselves to enjoy the atmosphere.
During this time the skipper rescued some young people, their boat motor had stopped, and towed them to their houseboat. The birds were plentiful and beautiful, eagle and kite nests pointed out to us.
We finally enjoyed the sunset while having a seafood tasting plate 😘 what a lovely way to spend an evening

Tweed Escapes is a great tour company. We hired the pontoon boat and had a great day out.
The team was easy to get in touch with, flexible with times and the other request we had.
The pontoon boat itself had everything you need for an epic day on the water including a bbq and utensils, esky, toilet.
We cruised along the river drinking and fishing and ended the afternoon with an amazing sunset looking at Mt Warning.
Would highly recommend Tweed Escapes!

We went on the Rainforest Cruise. It was a 2 hour cruise and was thoroughly 100% enjoyable. All travellers sat on the top deck which is covered from the elements. Our skipper and the tour guide were both very friendly and knowledgeable. The commentary for the entire cruise was amazing with local history, endless knowledge of local birds and the rainforest. Also information of other places to visit while in the area. A must for all.

Just had another thought ... The "Skipper" Michael has a mobile number that I did contact him on - if you have no joy with the land-line number try 0439 554 525 - he will give you all the information you need. Cheers

Sorry please disregard my last answer. I was talking about the kayaking tour in New Zealand, got them mixed up.. The tweed river cruise leaves opposite the 2 storey white building, from memory it's a restaurant where we ate after the cruise.

The picture shows canoeing. Is this the cruise? Or is it (hopefully) a proper river cruiser boat.
