Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We visited the site in the end of August 2017 and there was a sign at the entrance which was not easy to understand saying that it is closed but also open. The entrance door was open so we went in, but there was no one to care for the site or the bar. The nuraghe seemed abandoned, the surrounding plants were huge and the historical remains were not easily visible. Furthermore, we could not enter the forest where there is another nuraghe, as part of the land was surrounded by a fence and used for agriculture. I visited the site several years ago and our visit now was not comparable. The place was abandoned and we felt like intruders and the site was neglected and not as beautiful as years ago. In my opinion it is not worth going there, as the streets are very bad, that means it takes long to get there and in the end you see some abandoned rocks in the wilderness.

The drive up to this site is worth the visit by itself. It is spectacular. Beautiful views of the ocean and this beautiful island.

Entry to the archaeological site is just 2.50 euros. It is a surprisingly well preserved neolithic village, sacred woodland, grave site and two towers.

There was no guide on duty on the day we visited, but we didn't mind that at all. The nice guy looking after it gave us a torch and a comprehensive guide written in English. We made our own way around and I actually preferred that to seeing the site at the pace of a guide.

At the end of our visit the custodian gave us an English booklet full of fascinating history of Sardinia. The booklet was worth the entry price by itself.

This place is a bit off the beaten track so I suspect it does not get too many visitors, but it is well worth making the effort to go. Far more interesting and enjoyable than most archaeological sites and very cheap.

A Nuraghic tower and village, reasonably preserved, with a tour in Italian. Yet another really good archaelogical site. Access is not easy. We drove up from the coast road Bosa-Alghero (what a great drive) through an avenue of wildflowers so thinck they were brushing the sides of the car. Wonderful. Had a picnic overlooking the fields. Two horses and a donkey. Just lovely.
