Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Had a nice break for lunch here while visiting the village. Charming little oasis which is looked after & maintained by local volunteers, hooray to that. Peaceful place and a haven for wildlife and plants. This place is a bit special as Long Buckby hasn't a lot in the way of public outside space. Do not understand Maxzillerate's review at all, as for a village there are many amenities and interesting listed buildings.

This is not a large public park with space for football and noise but a quiet, tranquil place to recharge one's batteries. It is maintained by volunteers who over the years I have been visiting have continually made improvements. Our visitors enjoyed their visit to Long Buckby very much and this was one of the highlights.

A village without charm, ammenities or veiws. Unless you have relatives there, there's really is no reason to go.

This is a little hidden oasis just out of the village with picnic tables a stream, bird hide, and a few ponds. My only qualm is that they have now places a large swathe of wild flowers in the area that we used to go and the children could chase around in, play football while we were having a picnic. This is a real shame and I'm an ecologist saying this. There is not much space for kids to play now and while I appreciate the importance of wildflowers I wondered if there was not another smaller area they could have used so as to keep one large open space. The park can get quite busy with families in the summer but it never feels crowded. The little stream is pleasant, with fish in and other small wildlife and the ponds are great for frogs, newts and tadpoles in the spring.

Found this lovely, little park as we walked up into the village off the boat that we moored by the pub. Made a welcoming entrance to Long Buckby - what a very good, community idea :)

If you need time alone, or with friends and kids, then this is the place for you. You have beautiful views, a handy free car park which is tucked out of sight of the park itself. There is a lovely body of water, sheep etc. Zip wires (2). Great FREE day out. Take a picnic as tables provided.

I often walk into Long Buckby and when I do I usually visit the Pocket Park. I like to sit by the pond, eat my lunch then walk home. It's a quiet place to sit and think, watch for newts and generally re charge. A nice little haven
