I visit every chance I get, 1st week of Jan temp a mild 0 degrees, hoar frost on the grass, tide going out, slight surf and sunny. several people with their dogs that were kind and respectful. If I could set up a tent I would have. Quiet, serene, clean. I go and feel rejuvenated. I would love to buy... More

A lovely beach that has a lifeguard during the summer. Lots of parking and lots of surfers all year round.

Enjoyed walking along the beach for miles and also watching the surfers take advantage of the great waves. Can watch the cruise ships come into port in Halifax as well as many naval ships in the horizon. Great place to watch the sunrise and sunset.

This beach is a piece of heaven, virtually untouched or destroyed by humans. The boardwalks keep people off the delicate ecosystems that are home to an endangered species - the Piping Plover and the threatened Grey Heron. Early in the morning and later in the evening throughout the week you could actually walk the beach and not see another single... More

We had a great time on this wonderful Beach. the facilities were closed so there were not a lot of People out. the water was very calm for the area and noticed how the recent storms have pushed up a lot of stone. There are several great Hiking trails in the area with easy access from the Beach. Do enjoy.

Nice beach, good waves and a good place to watch surfers. Ample parking when we went. It's a bit rocky at first but there is sand for you to lay on.

I have been going to Lawrencetown beach for 40 years, and it remains a nice place to visit. I recently biked there along the Saltmarsh Trail, part of the the Rails to Trails network and it was a lovely ride, along level trails through the saltmarsh area. The beach is normally cool, so it is lovely to go visit on... More

Relatively spartan facilities, but a good, lengthly beach. A bit of a drive from Halifax, but quite a scenic one!

Nice beach but water was cold and waves were not big the day we went there... We walk along. It was pretty nice.
