Quite enjoyable and I would probably rate it as a 3 and a half. Cost is $12 per person. Pathway is 2 km long and passes approximately 50 sculptures. Walk through native bush and grass land. Stairs and some steep climbing. Some sculptures are better than others. Restaurant on site but we didn't eat there, has a nice outlook. Also... More

Brick Bay is only a few minutes from Snells, 20 mins from Omaha or just over an hour from Auckland. A lovely walk approx 2 km through a man made bush path, undulating farmland and around water lilly laden lakes. There is something for everyone here, kids can hunt for the sculptures or play in the playground. Unfortunately we did... More

We took our two young children aged 3 and 6 on this trail and thoroughly enjoyed it. The kids loved it and had no difficulty walking it. It's beautifully laid out and is such a pretty scenic walk. I took my Mum on the trail again in December and she loved it. Highly recommend. The restaurant is also amazing.

Even without the sculptures, which were varied and great talking points, this sculpture park was worth visiting just for the beautiful walking track.

The 2.5 k walk through the gardens and forest trail is beautiful. The water ponds with the lilies are gorgeous. The sculptures are inspirational, what amazingly talented artists are represented. the walk up through the kauri forest through the Japanese arches with the Indian cow bells was my favourite part. I would definitely go again. It was a lovely place... More

Took my family up to Brick Bay for my birthday lunch and we walked the sculpture trail beforehand. It was set up very well and we really enjoyed strolling through the bushes looking at all the art. My Dad loved hearing all the birds singing. A beautiful way to spend a sunny afternoon.

This attraction changes constantly as they add new sculptures and pieces and feature different artists. It's a lovely drive to get there, it's a beautiful place to walk around, and the art is always interesting, if sometimes challenging. There's something to suit almost all tastes, and something to offend someone's taste. Speaking of taste, the cafe/restaurant is excellent. We would... More

Sculptures dotted around the winery gardens. The trail takes a couple of hours to do and its interesting to see whats coming up around the next corner. Not sure it's quite worth the charge (would be nice to get it refunded off food/wine?). Doubt they sell many of the sculptures though, as they are very expensive. Cafe looked very busy... More

This was an unexpected highlight of our Matakana wine tour. Unbelievable sculpture trail/ hike that took us through incredible forest and well matched awe inspiring pieces. Good wine at the end was icing on the the cake. Do not pass this place up.

We visited Brick Bay sculpture trail as a group of adults plus 2 small children aged 2 and 5. The walk passed by the lake, through native bush and open fields as well. It was great with interesting sculptures as well as fantastic landscape and native bush. The kids loved seeing the ducks and ducklings and I enjoyed the singing... More
