We went to watch Falstaff. It is a fabulous location and venue, steeped in history. The seating arrangements are a bit rudimentary but that did not detract from the atmosphere of this place.

The plain outside hides a stunning building from the inside. We went to a superb performance of medieval music last week, which added to the whole medieval feel of the Barn itself. As we walked in and saw the amazing roof timbers, everyone just went...More

We very much enjoyed our visit to the Winterbourne Medieval Barn. We came during the Medieval fair and were thoroughly entertained. What a brilliantly organised event, put together and run by some amazing volunteers and groups. And the sun shone too. Couldn't have asked for...More

Dating from the early 1300s, this beautiful building is being gradually and lovingly restored to its former glory. Features include a cider press and a stunning beamed roof. Well worth a visit.
