We love Old Deer Park and are there, whenever we can. Just for a walk, or for Picnics, any outdoor plays ect. It is a lot of space and not many people go there, as you do not have any pubs or restaurants near by....More

Firstly as other reviewers have mentioned DO NOT confuse this park with Richmond Park It is a large open space along the Thames Riverside about a 15/20 minute walk towards Richmond Bridge. Perfect space for walking your dog or a family picnic.

Bit hidden behind scenes form posh Richmond but provides essentials for sports determined people. Proper swimming pool facilities as well as tennis and group sports. There is a playground for kids to kill some time.

After the rigours of Richmond why not unwind by the river and walk where King George (the mad one) strolled.Enjoy the Duellists and take in the playground, but don't stress or hurry, just cruise alongside the river, suitable for older folk

Went here for the Surrey food festival which took place on 22nd of April. Very well organised with lots of food and drink stalls. Lots of parking opposite. Park is a huge flat green area next to the A316 and next to Richmond Swimming baths.
