Following the disastrous fire in July 2008 that destroyed the Pavilion at Weston-super-Mare’s top attraction, The new multi-million pound Pavilion, opened its doors in October 2010. The all-weather venue has fantastic views of the shoreline, beach and sea and inside you will discover some of the best coastal entertainment, rides & attractions the South West has to offer.

The pier is kept in good condition and that amusements at the end were really good. It was disappointing that we couldn't get wristbands as we were there midweek. Probably didn't go on as many rides as a result. Good softplay that was reasonably priced...More

It's £1 to get in, the turnstile accepts both the old and the new £1 coins. It's a pretty long walk along the pier to get to the end, where there's hundreds of amusements, eating places and a licensed pub. Well worth £1!

Whilst its lovely to see a pier up and running I do not think it needs to be so overpriced. The £1 admission is fair enough but the rides are stupidly overpriced and the ticket machines to purchase these are rubbish. It seems there are...More

Personally I didn't mind paying the £1 admission, but when I went I couldn't see anywhere where the admission fee was displayed, and the man on the gate was somewhat surly when asked. Compared to other piers where you don't have to pay I can't...More

I love piers but here you pay £1 per person to enter and there is very little on the pier you can't even get to the end of it because there is an expensive restaurant at the end. The amusements are not very modern and...More
