The first glimpse of Capesthorne is quite spectacular - what a huge building and what a mix of architectural features! As it was a fine day we visited the gardens first and had a pleasant wander through the woodland. The house itself is very geared...More

We raved over the Butler's Pantry before, but it's had a superb face-lift and we were the first visitors. I did offer to cut the ribbon and send pics to Cheshire Life. Lady Bromley Davenport, who popped in as we were there, was told that...More

Visited on Sunday with a friend knowing that there was an antique and collectors fair on. The stalls were interesting and we both came away with a purchase but our main reason for visiting was to see the hall. Capesthorne is I understand still a...More

Very dissapointed with the cheshire bazaar which was advertised as a "fun day out" antiques and artisan food fair. Was about ten stalls in total, mostly full of car boot rubbish. Took about 5 minutes to walk up and down. Outrageous that they actually charged...More
