The walled garden is lovely to visit at different times of the year. There is always something different to see. If you can get a guided tour it makes it even more interesting. There is a small cafe, but most of the seating is outdoors - lovely in good weather. If it's cold you can go to the nearby North... More

My 4 year old grandson and I meet up with my friend and granddaughter regularly and always end up at The Walled Garden. We start off walking through Castle Park and have seen plenty of nature with squirrels scurrying about and picking up leaves with the two little ones asking if they can go for ice cream at The Cure... Last visit of the season before the garden is hidden for the winter period. Some lovely blooms still providing colour in late October. Spotted some fresh planting of Spring vegetables and lots of rows of allium. We visited an hour and a half before closing time and were disappointed to find the coffee shop closed. We met a little boy... More

This is quite a special place, which you realise when you enter through the door. It has a lovely peaceful ambience, and the upkeep is superb.

Flowers are beautiful, veg garden is great and watching the birds come to the feeders from the forest is excellent. Love going here and just relaxing with a coffee..

I have been in Bangor multiple times over the years and yet had never been here. The Aurora Water Complex is just across the way. This Victorian walled garden was restored in relatively recent times and they have done a superb job - particularly like the vegetable garden area. When I was here with my brother I noticed a wedding... More

This facility, after being closed for many years is now open to the public. It has been extensively renovated and with the addition of the old bandstand is a great place to visit.

Free to walk around and well worth doing, the gardens are stunning, even after the summer - I imagine they're even more impressive with the summer blooms

Such a beautiful and serene place to walk or just sit on one off the benches and relax and unwind, a lot off love and care has gone into all the different parts off the gardens with many different flowers, fauna, plants herbs and vegetables, a beautiful fountain and a cafe, I spent a good while just enjoying the peace...
