Well kept gardens easily accessible by foot from Bangor centre and train station. Walk from Bangor Castle through well kept gardens to the Walled Garden. The smalll museum at the car park is definitely worth visiting.

Historic parkland home of Colin Bateman's teenage drinking haunt. Old trees dating to 17th century and beautiful manicured gardens and a stunning walled garden

This park is very picturesque and very accessible for the main railway and bus depots in Bangor. It houses the Town Hall and Coffee Cure Restaurant. When people get married in the Town Hall, Castle Park becomes a beautiful setting for photographs.

Castle Park- Great for long or short walks, close to Bangor Castle and beside the Bangor Castle walled gardens! Beautiful area and great to see the seasons change :) Brilliant to do outdoor/adventure activities with the kids such as collecting conkers or finding cute animals!...More

Lots of space to take a long walk, for the kids to play in the newly built playground, or just wander around enjoying the views. There's a cafe at the castle and don't miss the walled gardens. Parking is plentiful. Lots of dog walkers too.

It's not the biggest park but there is a well laid out walking route with hard paths which wind their way around the area and show off the trees. If you are lucky, and don't have a dog accompanying you, you may see grey squirrels...More
