Went with a group of friends and had a great time. Post code above took us right to the carpark. There’s a picnic area right next to the carpark. Can’t review the restaurant as we didn’t use the facility but what we saw of the...More

Took an escorted tour before general opening of this wonderful Tudor palace. The early escorted tours are free of charge. The palace is full of treasures and art. Well worth a visit.

I often go to Knole. The walks are varied and beautiful. Have taken bikes too. The house is interesting and the staff always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. A lovely day out for families, couples or just a line dog walker.

The house & collections are fantastic. Worst National Trust restaurant we have experienced. Very limited sandwich selection an those available looked very unappetising! Hot food dishes were limited and very unattractive! Don't bother to visit the restoration studio. When we arrived just after lunch, there...More

Having visited many National Trust sites and seeing the pictures of Knole, I was looking forward to a lovely day out. What a disappointment! We looked in the Gatehouse - had to pay extra for this. Then onto the lovely big house, but we only...More

Really disappointing visit. For a site that spans 52 acres the car park is miniscule and was shut by 12:30 on a Sunday. We ended up having to find somewhere in town and walk about a mile past a building site to get to the...More

I love Knole, I used to live and work in sevenoaks and everytime I visit they open new rooms. On this occasion it was it the turret room used by Eddy Sackville West that piqued my interest, enough for me to buy the book by...More

Great place for everyone to enjoy, tranquil walks and history of Knole House. Lots of deer, please don't feed them though. Very pleasant place.

Sorry for the delay in reply, travelling got in the way. There are quite a few stairs in the house, but the pushchair / buggy would come in handy for getting around the grounds.
