An uphill walk from the car park. As the tree line disappeared these amazing rock formations came in to view. Well worth the effort to see them and the views over the moors. Note entry fee of £8.00 per car.

It cost us £8 to get into the forest area and this included the parking. Starts with a visitor centre where it costs £1 for a route map. There is also a cafe there and a bike hire/bike shop. The forest is huge with parking areas dotted all around. Go in to Dixon's car park and there is a great... More

Great place for kids, walkers, picnics and family. Would be good for photographers too I think. Been here many times and it always turns up another new place I haven't seen. The mill in is not far away and is a lovely homely pub that is interesting and eclectic. Try the moorcock inn too, open 7-10pm Thursday to Saturday. A... More

This was our second visit, this time We did the harder longer trails which were great and pushed our skill and endurance levels. Really well thought out, something for every level and age. Great walks with kids and easy biking We tend to go mid week so it isn't busy

Been going for years since my teens were tots! They are now 17 love the bridestones walk. When they were younger they loved the parks and paddling in the stream. Always take a picnic but we do have a coffee & cake at the visitors centre. Feels very commercialised now to what if used to do. Pre Go Ape and... More

Dalby Forest is one of our favourite places to take family and friends to walk, cycle, play games or relax. When the new visitors centre opened we enjoyed lovely lunches in the cafe. To our disappointment the cafe was moved downstairs. Even though the environment was nothing like as pleasant the food was still good. When there was a change... More

Staff friendly & helpful. We cycled 8 miles. We had teenagers and smaller children with us. Something there for all ages. Didn't cost the earth.
