We went for the 40s weekend. This lovely pub was very busy but with friendly and helpful staff made our visit. It is plastic drink holders in all the pubs that weekend which was fine. Very unusual name too.

Went on Saturday night very busy with a good band playing friendly staff and brilliant atmosphere full of local people who made us very welcome hubby said beer was first class pizza shop just round corner for supper all in all cracking good night

Awesome evening on Friday....for the Christmas lights turn on....Free pool.....John Smith's cheap....girl behind the bar lovely......had a blast....juke box nice and loud....a real good few hours relaxing with family

Small, pub offering good selection of traditional beers but sadly no food. People were friendly who served behind the bar and the locals who were in there.

Nice friendly bar , good atmosphere , pool table, darts and a free juke box ( at nominated times ) and great value for money on beers / lagers .

Dropped in for a drink and found this pub to be very comfortable and the staff friendly. Very close to the town centre.
