No ordinary 'run of the mill' whisky tour, we are just 45 minutes from Edinburgh and Glasgow. Visit us and experience our traditional open mash tun, gleaming copper stills and our maturation warehouse 2b. During your visit taste our distinctive single malt whisky which is fruity with a malty spiciness on the palate. Our distillery cafe, The Coffee Bothy is the ideal place to sit back and enjoy a leisurely lunch or coffee and cake. Either 'pre-tour' or 'apres-tour' make time to visit The Coffee Bothy where all our food is freshly prepared and handmade in the distillery kitchen. We had a great tour given by Gregor. We started with a short video and then a detailed tour of all the steps from distilling to storage. The whiskey barrel storage room was quite impressive. We ended with a tasting or two. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and answered all our questions.

We did a tasting only here, and was impressed with the flavor of the whiskey. We are not connoisseurs by any means, but we were able to drink it and taste the differences with the 18 and 20 year scotchs. If we could have purchased a small amount to last us until we left Scotland, we would have bought it;... More

really well presented guided tour of the distillery, albeit at the weekend when no whisky is being made, but equally interesting. As for the tasting - wonderful whisky, and the chocolate tasting option was a great addition with simply exquisite chocolates to compliment the whisky.

Great way to spend an hour if you're in the Stirling area. Harry, our guide was very pleasant and extremely knowledgable. Reasonably priced and a lovely "dram" at the end. A lovely lunch was also enjoyed in the restaurant.

Lots of interesting background on the history of the building (originally a cotton mill) and only a whisky distillery since 1965. Tour a bit light on detail of whisky production but green angle was intriguing (self sufficient on production of electricity from river)

We had booked in for the standard distillery tour that morning. The distillery is set in a beautiful location along the river valley and at this time of year it is stunning. The tour itself was ok, covering the different aspects of the distillery’s operation. The tasting at the end of the tour was of a dram of the standard... More
