Thoroughly enjoyable guided dander around Stirling for a Darkside Tour.
Guide (Beth) was very knowledgeable. Group was approximately 20, which initially seemed quite large, however due to the timing of the tour 20.30-22.00hrs and the reduced volume of traffic and pedestrians, worked very well.
Good pre tour advice re clothing/footwear and to bring a torch. Highly recommend 😊

We did the Stirling old town dark side of Stirling walking tour. It was very enjoyable and informative. Our guide Georgia was very informative, knowledgeable and was able to answer all our groups questions. It was well named as the dark side of Stirling tour as some of the tales were gruesome. She was able to point out lots of different points on the landmarks we stopped at along the way. I think it would be good to go back and do the daylight tour and see some more of the interesting landmarks during the day.

We did the Dark Side Tour which was an evening tour from 6.30 to 8.00 but ran to nearer 8.30 and was very interesting and informative. Great way to spend a few hours on a Saturday night doing something different. Highly recommend even my 17 year old daughter enjoyed it.

Our guide, Jane, was exceptional. We were lucky to have her to ourselves as we were the only ones on the tour(probably the weather had people off).
Jane was a mine of information bringing the fascinating history of Stirling to life. We would recommend this tour to everyone visiting Stirling.

Jane, our guide (who, contrary to another review here, was Scottish and extremely knowledgeable) was excellent - friendly, enthusiastic and knew her stuff. This is a gentle walking tour for everyone, although it ends at Stirling Castle which is on top of a hill. The 1.5hrs flew by with the various fascinating facts about Stirling's chequered history - a great way to get familiar with an amazing town and its importance in Scottish history.

This was a great tour around Stirling. I learnt so much about the area and Scottish history in general. Our guide, Jane, was extremely interesting and seemed so passionate. I’d definitely recommend this tour.

We had a wonderful tour led by Jane. She is so knowledgeable and extremely enthusiastic about the history of Stirling Old Town. We learned lots about the royalty, clans and battles that took place there and she also pointed out things on buildings etc that we have never noticed despite having visited Stirling on quite a few occasions. I would definitely recommend this tour. Thank you Jane.

Really enjoyed our tour today with Jane! Her and the company were really accommodating to give us a tour at very late notice. Jane is obviously very knowledgeable and passionate about history and it makes the tour a very special experience. Really loved hearing all the history of Stirling and imagining it back in the day. Can not recommend enough!!

Super tour of the top of the hill in Stirling. A real appreciation of the court of the kings, the importance of the castle and interesting images on gravestones. Jane, the guide has a good feel for Scottish history and an enthusiasm to spread the word. She has very good interpersonal skills and is most engaging. A very good value for the cost.

Our morning walking tour of Stirling’s historic centre was wonderful. Jane our guide had a wealth of fascinating knowledge of the history of the town and Scottish history generally which gave us a whole different perspective on Stirling. Jane is a lovely person and a brilliant historian! Couldn’t recommend this tour highly enough!
