Mason’s is my favourite pub in the whole world! Brenda is such a fantastic landlady and is what makes the place what it is! Dog friendly and a roaring fire in the snug!

Visited this pub yesterday after getting soaked walking around town in the rain. What a lovely little pub. Roaring fire, good beer and friendly and cosy astmosphere. Just waht we were looking for on a cold, dull, rainy day. Stayed far longer than we intended:)

Proper pub with exceptionally friendly staff. It's one of those places you can go in on your own & get chatting to someone . I love to call in here for a night cap or on a sunny afternoon in the roof garden.

This pub has been around since ....forever. We dropped in for a drink after eating at Tyndalls. Great prices and Fiona was the barperson that night. Very friendly and obviously enjoys her job.

We found this great little pub after the food festival. We had an amazing night, met some new friends and broke in to impromptu song due to the amazing juke-box. Apologies to other customers and regulars for our raucous behaviour but the atmosphere was so...More
