Visited this pub yesterday after getting soaked walking around town in the rain. What a lovely little pub. Roaring fire, good beer and friendly and cosy astmosphere. Just waht we were looking for on a cold, dull, rainy day. Stayed far longer than we intended:)

Proper pub with exceptionally friendly staff. It's one of those places you can go in on your own & get chatting to someone . I love to call in here for a night cap or on a sunny afternoon in the roof garden.
