Only £15.50 for a round of golf!! Opted for a buggy (£20). Course was in descent condition. Lots of birds on the course due to the nature reserve next door. Could do with some new markers for the yellow tees.
For a municipal course I found Southport to be a good track and very enjoyable to play.

I am an avid golfer and take pleasure in visiting different clubs as often as possible and am pleased to say that my round here puts among the top 5 municipal courses in the north-west. Challenging course, but playable. Well worth a visit.
