Recently I transferred to S&A from another golf course which is parkland, James Braid in design and over 125yrs old. I can only say that S&A is amazing in every aspect. Phil and Frances alongside the directors manage the club brilliantly. Jim and the pro...More

Hard to fault. Great layout. Terrific greens. Plenty of pot bunkers. Many memorable holes. Not to be missed. Welcoming Club House.

We played on a windy day and found the course very good but also very challlenging. It is really suitable for the better golfer.

Loved the rustic nature of this course with some of the best golf holes played for a while, the 7th and 16th par 5's being the standout. One of the best value for money golf courses I've ever played. Lunch wasn't very good, average sandwiches.

Well presented lunches at good prices. Lots of. Voice from. Poked breakfasts to sandwiches and soups. Good selection of beer. Nice view down the 18th.

What a great club. Course is one of the most prestigious in the country, and the food and hospitality to match. Nothing to fault.

I've been here a few times as a guest of a member. The selection of food is pretty varied. There is a good selection of real ales as well as the usual drinks at the bar. Nice pot of coffee is served. Will definitely be...More
